First three stories that popped up on my trusty Google Reader that grabbed my attention this morning:
The first story, unrelated to Mark Penn, that made me cringe this morning, via CNN: Japan's 'Geisha Guys', a masculine cross between the white-faced, kimono draped companions of ancient Japan and the wares offered by Spitzer's Emerald Club , are yet "another step to equality" between the sexes. Equal opportunity objectification = post feminism. Oy.
Calling Betty Friedan : "Having a husband creates an extra seven hours of housework each week for women, according to a new study. For men, tying the knot saves an hour of weekly chores." Come on, (cave) men, it's 2008 - I'm sure wikiHow can show you how to add the detergent.
She's Been Watching too Much 'Real Sex': Air America Host Randi Rhodes evidently sees two smart, powerful women not taking any shit and the word "whore" just jumps out of her mouth - and Air America rightly knocked her off the air. Women can hate other women and be sexist too - ever read Maureen Dowd?
