Waiting for the radiator, reading the news, passing on the stuff that seemed interesting:
It's a step forward to have a First Family in the White House that include the whole family in political shindigs. Example: At the White House Super bowl party, a Wii station was set up in the East Wing for the children and grandchildren of the invited Congressional guests.
Somehow I don't find this so comforting - MySpace has purged 90,000 sex offenders from the site and turned the names over to authorities. According to an advocate, "these are just registered sex offenders who used their real names."
Will Bill be alone on Valentine's Day? Hillary's said to be headed to Japan next week on her first trip as Madam Secretary.
Obama is expected to announce a 'President's Council on Faith' tomorrow at the National Prayer Breakfast - and I'm expecting Rick Warren will be on it. I commend Obama for reaching out to all faiths, but resent that the gay movement that supported him has to wait patiently and take some kicks in the face - like the women's movement did last week.
We're definitely going to need a council on faith if the Pope keeps nuzzling up to holocaust deniers. Jeez.
Lee Stranahan over at Huff Po advises the gays to chill out and learn from Obama. Slate thinks Huff Po should be unionized.
