I am in Austin, sunburned and enjoying the authentic margaritas and queso back in my home state! I attended a fantastic screening of my film this afternoon, sponsored by the Campus Alliance for Progress, the Texas Freedom Network, and other progressive groups on the UT campus. We had almost 100 people in the audience and had a great discussion afterward. Longhorns always turn out - thanks so much!
After the screening we headed to Austin's Pizza and then to Trudy's for more margaritas. At some point, my brother texted me that he had seen me on the Daily Show but had no idea what the context was as he missed all but the end. I rushed back to my friend's house and watched myself do the toothbrush impersonation in front of Congress. Awesome.
